Uninstalling Microsoft InTune Company Portal from an Android Device

Microsoft Intune Company Portal is a mobile application that allows users to access corporate resources from their mobile devices. You can remotely manage the installation of InTune on a device from within the Endpoint Manager Portal, however, there may come a time when you need to uninstall the Company Portal from your Android device.

If you are able to run the Microsoft Intune Company Portal application on the device, you can easily uninstall it by selecting “Remove Company Portal” from the main menu within the application.

If your account has already been disabled, or you don’t remember the password, here are the steps to uninstall the Microsoft Intune Company Portal from an Android device:

  1. Go to your Android device’s home screen and tap on the “Settings” app.
  2. Scroll down and tap on “Security and Privacy.”
  3. Scroll down and find “More Security Settings”.
  4. Select “Device admin apps”.
  5. Tap on toggle next to “InTune Company Portal” and then tap on “Remove.”
  6. Confirm the action by tapping on “Delete.”

…and that’s it! The Microsoft Intune Company Portal will now be successfully uninstalled from your Android device.

It’s important to note that uninstalling the Company Portal will also remove any company data stored within your work profile and impact your ability to access corporate resources from your mobile device. Before proceeding with the uninstallation, make sure you have consulted with your IT administrator and have a clear understanding of the consequences.
