A new image generator specifically targeting food pictures has appeared – LunchBox. This simplifies food pictures into three questions.
This site seems to be powered by DALL-E (it does say x OpenAI in the footer) and allows you to prompt for a specific food, on a background (which will default to white if you leave it blank), with the ability to customise the style of the result. This will default to “photo” if you leave it blank.
Having a quick play around on DALL-E, you can replicate the images with the prompt “(style) of (search term) with a (background) background”:
